Youth@Risk
This program aims to support youths identified as ‘at risk’ as well as their families in order to reduce the likelihood of offending. This is done by meeting with the youth and their family and addressing their needs whether it be through monetary support, advice or referrals if necessary. It aims to provide help on a case by case basis so the child can have a tailored path to get back on track.
In order to qualify for this program, the youth must:
  • Be between the ages of 10-14.
  • Have a police referral indicating criminal behaviour or high risk of criminal behaviour.
  • Not be considered entrenched in criminal offending.
