Each year, Jacaranda Community Centre in partnership with the City of Belmont, proudly hosts a NAIDOC Week celebration to recognise and celebrate the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Our NAIDOC event brings the community together in a spirit of respect, reflection, and celebration. It provides an opportunity for people of all backgrounds to come together, learn, and acknowledge the strength and resilience of First Nations peoples.

The event typically includes cultural performances, guest speakers, community stalls, activities for families and children, and opportunities to connect with local services and support organisations.

Jacaranda is committed to supporting cultural awareness, strengthening community relationships, and creating inclusive spaces where Aboriginal culture is celebrated and respected all year round, not just during NAIDOC Week.
